I strive to make text clear, coherent, consistent, and correct. And copyediting can be light, heavy, or a happy medium, depending on the needs of the author.

Sometimes content needs to be heard—and not just read—to bring it to the next level. I provide narration with a clear baritone voice. I make a habit of reading aloud anything I consider important...editing projects, news articles, even fiction books! 

Even if text is well-written, it may need a final once-over to ensure that no typos exist, or that "loose" really should be "lose," for example. This is usually reserved as a last step before actual publication or printing, and is much lighter—but no less important—than copyediting.
